Draw Poker with a Twist

32 Draw Poker is often referred to as "Stripped Deck Poker." 20 low cards are removed from the deck (2-6) ensuring an action packed high hand value game. If you have played 5 card draw, you will recognize this variation of the game.

Four of a kind is a dream hand when playing most forms of poker, at 32 draw these hands are a dime a dozen. It will take a little strategic adjustment but this added edge brings forth a new exciting and addictive game.

32 draw poker has become increasingly popular in countries such as Italy . Many online players have been drawn to poker variants other than Holdem due to its monotony.

Holdem is often referred to as "Foldem Holdem". Personally I will fold about 85% of my dealt hands during a Texas Holdem game at 32 draw poker I don't seem to have that luxury (or boredom factor).

I have more possibilities open to me during a 32 Draw Poker game. The 32 high cards almost guarantee I will hit some sort of hand which would be very playable during a game of Holdem.

  • Only 32 Cards Used - High cards in play only (7-A)

New Poker Players

When I first started playing poker, good reading material was scarce. I learned to play through trial and error. I became a winning player, then back tracked.

This helped me in many ways...

  • Reading - I have no interest in chemistry. If I decided to learn about chemistry, reading would be a drag. Most of the information would go over my head. If I carried out a few experiments I would get an interest boost. I might then pick up a chemistry book and build on my practical experience. I took this approach to poker and it has paid off.
  • Experience - Poker books generally teach you the mechanics of the game. They will give you a solid foundation but you still need to think outside the box. To think outside the box you need to have the experience to understand a situation.

Browse around our site for more information on the game but in my opinion, the only way to learn the game is to play now, read later then refine your game.
